Are you going to practice stress or peace today? A bonita thought for the day.
I posted this question on my bonita facebook account. I am going to try to ask myself this everyday. I have a hard time as the day goes on to remember that I actually have control on how my day is going to go. Granted things happen out of your control. But you can always control your reaction to any situation. I think my biggest challenge is to think first before I react. I tend to just react and then later is when we regret our actions. I always critize my husband about not reacting at things right away. He always seems as if he is pondering too much. Honestly it truly annoys me most of the time. The lack of emotion or reaction to something. What I am starting to realize is that he is just thinking first before he reacts. Although it is healthy to let your emotions go. Perhaps it's the control of our emotions that will help us with stress. Hey we all have stress in our lifes. It just doesn't mean it has to govern our thoughts, body and reactions. Hmm , do I really have control then. Haha easier said then done. I am going to try though. To think first, breathe then react and trust my gut. I think regret comes from not listening to yourself (gut feeling). Just a Bonita thought for the day! xoxoxo Love Bonita!
